He is by Lyndhurst Stud gun Sequalo from Winsome Blue, a flying mare who won 16 races up to 1030m. She was also runner-up in a QTC Lightning Hcp. Her earlier winners were Winsome Dancer (Celestial Dancer) and Blue Pistol (Celestial Dancer). She has a 2yo colt by Sequalo and was served by him again last November.

Retained by breeders
Drumshanbo didn't fire on debut at Ipswich in May 2007 and wasn't sighted again until he was a good thing beaten at Toowoomba last month. There were no mistakes second-up when he scored by two lengths back on home soil. Drumshanbo is by Kenfair, the 1991 STC Silver Slipper Stakes (G2) winner, who stands at Clear Mountain Fairview. He is the last foal of a mare who now has four foals to race for as many winners.
