Confirmation of conditions for upcoming meetings
Queensland Racing Limited (QRL) has today confirmed the status of the following upcoming meetings:
- Saturday 27 June 2009 – Sunshine Coast Turf Club – Metropolitan
- Saturday 11 July 2009 – Toowoomba Turf Club – Metropolitan
- Saturday 11 July 2009 – Brisbane Racing Club (Doomben) – Provincial
The Sunshine Coast Turf Club will host a 12 race card on Saturday, June 27, 2009 and all races conducted at this meeting will be deemed Metropolitan with a 53kg minimum weight scale.
The Toowoomba Turf Club meeting on Saturday, July 11, 2009 will be the first Metropolitan meeting conducted at Clifford Park and all races at this meeting will be deemed Metropolitan with a 53kg minimum weight scale.
With the Toowoomba meeting receiving Metropolitan status the meeting of the Brisbane Racing Club on Saturday, July 11, 2009 has been scheduled as a Provincial meeting and will be conducted with a 54kg minimum weight scale.
It is important to note that only riders with Metropolitan licenses can compete at both the Sunshine Coast and Toowoomba meetings, whilst Provincial riders will be able to compete at the Doomben meeting.
It is also worth noting that the Integrity Department has taken the decision to only permit riders to take a maximum of 10 rides at the Sunshine Coast meeting on Saturday, June 27, 2009.

Race 1 – 12.15pm - Race 12 – 6.52pm
Glasshouse Hcp – Race 8 – 4.22pm
Caloundra Cup – Race 9 at 5.00pm
Guineas – Race 10 at 5.37pm
Toowoomba – Saturday 11 July 2009
Race 1 – 2.40pm - Race 8 – 7.05pm
Weetwood Hcp – Race 4 – 4.35pm
Toowoomba Cup – Race 5 at 5.15pm
Doomben – Saturday 11 July 2009
Race 1 – 11.05am - Race 7 – 2.35pm
